but my mom is making me that way. Her dream, for as long as I can remember, has to been to open a restaurant of her own. A place where she can express her culinary  abilities to the full extent. She found the perfect place, 4000 square feet and only eight hundred dollars a month.

For the past four months, her eyes have been bright, alive, full of energy. I haven’t seen her that way since I was younger. But her dreams were crushed. The owner of the building called her and informed her that he couldn’t rent the building to her because his mother, the actual owner, said no. Her reason? The worlds gonna end soon, so she can’t rent the building to her.

Now, she’s taking it out on me, directing her negative energy on me.
